The Al Smith Memorial Dinner is two weeks before the US Presidential Election in NYC. It features both candidates making light of each other. However under closer scrutiny it is an aggressive disinformation operation which weakens any serious challenges to the character or qualification of either candidate.This event distracts attention from the policies or agendas that the next president may implement. It also brings into question the influence of the Vatican on official US policy.
